Meet Dr. David Bonebreak

David Bonebreak, DDS MS
The great part about orthodontics is that it allows me to meet patients in a positive atmosphere and participate in something that is potentially life changing. Your smile is an expression of emotion and is often the first characteristic others remember! Improving your smile has the potential to improve numerous aspects of your life.
Education
Dr. David Bonebreak (aka "Dr. Dave") received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Afterwards, he completed a residency in orthodontics while concurrently receiving his Masters of Science degree at NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Continuing Education
Dr. Dave regularly attends the annual national meeting held by the American Association of Orthodontists, which provides the latest information on orthodontic research and treatment. Additionally, he participates in local continuing education and events held by the Howard County Dental Association and Maryland State Dental Association. As the field of orthodontics is constantly changing, Dr. Dave finds it imperative to remain current on the latest in orthodontic research through professional publications.
In the Practice
Dr. Dave enjoys keeping up to date with his patients' lives outside of the orthodontic office. He believes that orthodontics is perhaps the only profession in health care that provides regular, consistent contact with the patient. This allows him to not only follow his patients' progress with their smile, but also in their outside endeavors such as school, sports, or their career.
Outside the Office
Dr. Dave enjoys taking in all that the Baltimore and DC metropolitan areas have to offer, from historic sites to supporting the local professional sports teams. Additionally, he enjoys weekly basketball games with his father and old high school friends. Another hobby of his is continuing his study of the saxophone, an instrument he has been playing for nearly 20 years.
